aka Jorden Wall Reservoir is now run by United Utilities and situated on Moor End Road. This reservoir may have been built in 1926 to supply Mellor, but is not shown on earlier Ordnance Survey Maps. Mellor was originally gravity fed from water from the Harrymoor Spring. (Hayfield RDC later Chapel-en-le-Frith RDC.) This was via a tank situated at Kinder Bank (KB3) to this reservoir on the road to Mellor.
