SECTION 3 - Secretary to Peter Stanton 1989 - 1991
DERBY DISTRICT
23 October - became secretary to Peter Stanton.
March 1990 - took over Karen Squires post whilst she took maternaty leave.
July 1990 Levels of service job in District
Very hot summer - 32 degrees in the office.
Aug 1990 Mad temp at work - Janice from Manchester, a part qualified accountant with an attitude problem. Philliapa had the privilage of dealing withher when she claimed unfair dismissal.
Next Temp - Kathryn Murton, a pleasure to work work with. Katheryn was made permanent and is still with us.
5 October 1990 Michelle Saddington left (maternaty leave)
Saturday 8 December 1990 - heavy snow fall and strong winds. Many areas of the country affected by power failures, lack of water, transport etc.
Monday 10 December 1990 - emergency team based themselves in Peter Stanton's Office and created quite a fuss.
25 February 1991 - visited Penny Els ayt lunch time to see her new baby, Samantha. Penny - a temp from District, a Leo with a great sense of humour.
