Monksdale Borehole is next to the River Wye in Millersdale in North Derbyshire.

It is in a very picturesque location opposite the Anglers Rest pub. In May 1984 we had to remove the old pump and install a new one.

The borehole was several hundred feet deep and I think the pump was about 300 feet down. The pictures show the location and the crew that did most of the work.
